Wynona Prescott

September 29, 1945 — January 22, 2022

A native Californian, Wynona was born in Los Angeles on September 29, 1945, to her parents Les and Wilma Wilson. She passed away peacefully in her home in Citrus Heights on January 22, 2022.

Wynona, affectionately called "Willie" by all that knew her, was a high school graduate of Westchester High, a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife to her late husband Kenneth Prescott.

Willie enjoyed being involved in every aspect of her children's and grandchildren's extracurricular activities, from being a den mother in boy scouts to being their greatest fan and most loyal supporter in all they wished to pursue in life. She was our rock.

Willie was a dedicated employee of Pacific Bell/AT&T for over 30 years before retiring in the early 2000s. She was equally as dedicated to her bowling league as well. She was an avid reader of all genres, but especially enjoyed thrillers, crime dramas, and fantasy novels. Her favorite place to be was at the beach where she could listen to the waves and search for seashells.

Wynona is preceded in death by her parents, Les and Wilma Wilson, her husband, Kenneth Prescott, and her daughter, Deborah Miller. She leaves behind her son, Jon Miller, and his wife, Kelli Miller, her daughter, Jeannette Miller, granddaughter, Hallie Hope Colson, and grandsons, Kyle R. Miller and Ryan M. Miller, along with many other loved ones that will miss her dearly.

Services will be held at Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church (5839 Dewey Dr. Citrus Heights, CA 95621) on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11 am. All loving thoughts, memories, and flowers of all kinds are welcomed and appreciated by the family. Please send directly to Wynona Prescott c/o Hallie Colson at 6804 Bix Ave Citrus Heights, CA 95621.
