Wing Hee Fong

Wing Hee Fong passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025 at the age of 104. Born in Toison, China, he immigrated to the US in his late teens. He served in the US Army during World War II (1943-1946). He spent most of his adult life in Sacramento, CA where he and his wife, Sylvan, raised their five children. He was generous and loving, and passionate about sports. His last residence was the Cal-VET Home in Fresno, CA where he was popular with both staff and residents. His wife predeceased him in 2020. He is survived by his five children, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

A private, family memorial service is planned for Friday, January 16, 2026.
