William Bock Wong

William Wong, 74, of Oakland, California, passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 12, 2023.

He was born in Taisan, China.  He was the sixth of nine children.  William had 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

William was the first in his family to graduate from a U.S. college. He was an extremely hard worker and became a licensed appraiser, broker, contractor, architect, civil, electrical and professional engineer.

He was a visionary and enjoyed creating with his mind and hands. He was well known in his community for his hard work and enjoyed meals with good company. 

William is survived by his wife, son and daughter, their respective spouses and  four grandchildren. 

The family will hold a private funeral and ask that any donations made in William Wong’s honor go towards the charity of your choice.
