Lincoln, California - William R. Gordon Sr. (Bill) passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7th at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Roseville.
He was retired from the Sacramento Co. Accessors Office as an Accountant/Auditor for 11+ years. He was a wiz at math.
He and his loving wife, Janice traveled extensively around the world and every State in the USA.
He loved to read and had many books from wall to ceiling in his office. He loved his church and retirement community. He loved movies and collected over 2,000 DVD's.
He loved seeing, driving and listening to the rain, Christmastime and Holiday songs, and his birthday celebrations with family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Marcile Gordon, his first wife and mother of his children Karen Gordon, his second wife Janice Gordon of 50 years. He is survived by his daughter Elaine Gordon, his son Bill Gordon and wife Leanne, grandchildren Danielle Collins, Elizabeth Gordon, Robert Gordon and wife Lauren, and great-grand-child Camden.
Services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery at 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA on Friday, May 26, 2023. There will be a viewing at 12:30 pm and service to follow at 1:00 pm.
