Willi K. Lee

Willi K Lee was born on December 20, 1926 in Shanghai, China.
Her father was Alexander King , her mother was Bing Qing and
her older sister was Lily. She married Hugo K Lee in 1946 in
Shanghai, China and after their 2 daughters were born they
emigrated to the US first to study and later to work and live
permanently as US citizens. She also had a son, Robert, who
predeceased her at the age of 48. Willi was an administrative
assistant in the Insurance, Import Export, and the Sacramento
Builders Exchange business for over 40 years. After she and
Hugo retired and living in Sacramento, they became life master
bridge players and hosted the Dante Bridge Club over the next
decade. They directed Bridge sessions on world cruise ships. Willi
was a talented knitter and also liked to cook and play mah jong
with friends and relatives. She lived a long and productive life and
preferred to live in her own home till the very last days. She
passed away peacefully in her own room in bed under the care of
Hospice and her daughter Barbara Lee on March, 22, 2023 at the
age of 96. She is survived by daughters, Frances Nakamura and
husband Gary, Barbara Lee, Grandsons Kurtis , Damon, Jonah
and Ari, Great granddaughter June, and Great grandsons Kenshin, and Joe; great granddaughters June, Hope, Kira, and Reina
