Elk Grove

Warren Weaver, 79, of Elk Grove, California, peacefully passed away on January 3, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, teacher, and community servant, Warren lived a life rooted in service, integrity, and kindness.

Warren dedicated 37 years to education as a highly respected Agriculture Teacher at Elk Grove High School. Through his passion for teaching, unwavering patience, and deep love for FFA, he inspired generations of students- not only to learn, but to grow into responsible, compassionate leaders. His impact continues to be felt throughout the community and beyond.

Beyond his career, Warren was deeply committed to serving others. He volunteered his time generously and was a proud and active member of the Lions Club, where he exemplified the organization's mission of service compassion, and community involvement. Whether mentoring youth, lending a helping hand, or quietly supporting those in need, Warren led by example and left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Above all, Warren cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia; his children, Stacy, Stefani, and Trevor; his sons-in-law, Mike and Jeff; his daughter-in-law, Brooke; and his seven beloved grandchildren; Taylor, Hunter, Hannah, Grayson, Colin, Grace, and Bryce. He took immense pride in his family and found his greatest joy in time spent with them.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Creekside Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the EGRSF Warren Weaver Scholarship Fund in his memory, honoring his lifelong commitment to education and students.
