Virgil had a life long love of cars, especially sports cars.  He has enjoyed ownership of a 1959 Corvette (that he drove when he met Pam), a de Tomas Pantera,1963 Split window Corvette, 1965, 2005, 2015, 2018, and his latest 2023 Corvette.  Pam and he enjoyed so many wonderful trips with the Lincoln Hills Sports Car Club and others.  Virgil served several years as club historian and each year lead his Sausage Run up to Lockeford and Jackson.

Every Wednesday he joined other Corvette owners and friends where they discussed corvettes, had breakfast and then discussed corvettes some more.  Their name Jaw Jackers!

Virgil was a good friend and wonderful husband to wife Pam.  They were a team and truly enjoyed each others company.  He supported Pam in her endeavors and always encouraged her to “Go and have fun”.
