Verna Irene Magennis

Born on August 19th, 1938, a California native, died on January 20th, 2025. Verna was a proud member of The Salvation Army Corps, had a long career in banking, and volunteered for the California State Capitol. She was welcoming, compassionate, an avid traveler and cared deeply for her family and friends. She is survived by daughter, Jill Campos; son-in-law, Jaime; son, Scott Magennis; daughter-in-law, Stephanie; and grandchildren, Julia and Jacob Campos and Sabrina Magennis. She was very loved and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, February 1st at The Salvation Army at 11AM at 2550 Alhambra BIvd., Sacramento.
