Timothy "Tim" Copple

Timothy Myrl Copple (T.C.) 56 years old

Tim resided in Sacramento, California

Tim was born in Houston, Texas but was raised in Elk Grove, CA, and resided in Sacramento most of his life. After graduating high school, he enrolled in a technical school in Denver, CO, where he earned a certificate in Diesel Technology & Mechanics.  In addition to working in the automotive industry, Tim was an apprentice in the field of construction, learning all disciplines including masonry, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. Tim was a jack-of-all-trades! Most recently, Tim was a support to the Sacramento Urban League in facility maintenance.

His death was caused by a fall resulting in a traumatic brain injury.

Growing up in a Christian home, his faith and beliefs, were one of service to helping others, especially giving of his time and talents, which was his act of worship to God. Tim was always willing and able to help anyone, anywhere and that is where he shined!

Tim also had a heart for animals. From as early as elementary school, he was rescuing animals that needed a home.  Even strays in the neighborhood found a loving home with Tim.

His most recent desire was to visit and volunteer at Care For Wild, a rhino rescue that cares and promotes survival in South Africa.

Even in his passing, Tim’s final act of giving was that of a donor providing lifesaving support to recipients in need.

Tim is proceeded in death by his father, David Copple and sister Carmen Copple-Silva. He is survived by his mother, Toby Copple of Sacramento, Dozer, his beloved pit bull, his brother, Mark Copple of Folsom, nieces Sharon & Katie Silva, aunts and numerous cousins. 

The memorial service for Tim Copple will be held at East Lawn & Sierra Hills Memorial Park located at 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA  95841 at12:00pm, Sunday, April 2, 2023
