Thomas “Tom” Allen Eigner January 26, 1963 - October 17, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Allen Eigner, a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, and brother, on October 17, 2023, in Chico, California.

Tom was born on January 26th, 1963, in Akron, Ohio. Throughout his 60 years, he lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and unwavering love for his family.

Tom was a lifelong Raiders fan and found joy in simple pleasures like cheladas and the color purple. Surprisingly, he also enjoyed Lady Gaga's music and would often sing to the chorus of Bad Romance.

Tom was preceded in death by his loving mother, Donna K. Riemath. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mona R. Eigner, his father, James Allen Eigner, his dear brother, Jim Eigner, and cherished sister, Melissa Schroeder. Tom was a devoted father to his five children Melissa M. Orsie-Wilson, Tisha A. Jenkins, Jessica

L. Sanders, Thomas L. Eigner, and Stephanie R. Kincaid. He loved being a grandfather and leaves behind 15 grandchildren.  Tom is also survived by his faithful dog, Sally.

Tom was renowned for his strong work ethic and love for the outdoors; he took pride in his health and athleticism. He loved discovering new adventures and was always eager for the next camping trip, hike, or day at the lake. Wherever life took him he would share animated stories and laughter with everyone around him.

As a father, he instilled a love for adventure in his children, a legacy from his mother, which will continue to inspire future generations.

The funeral service to celebrate Thomas's vibrant life will be held on Monday, February 5^th, at Sierra Hills Cemetery in Sacramento, CA. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have shown support during this difficult time.
