Tom was born into eternal life on December 22, 2021 at his residence in Elk Grove, California at the age of 35 and a half. He was born into his earthly and temporary life on June 1986 in San Francisco, California.
Tom is survived by his:
23 months old daughter, Sabrina Tyree; parents, Ted and Joji Tyree; only brother, Benjamin Bugarin; 3 sisters, Lisa Tyree, Regina Bugarin-Vidanes, and April Tyree-Turner; four nephews, Richard Mendoza, Aidan Vidanes, Jacob and Benjamin Bugarin; three nieces, Jesilyn Bugarin, Kianna Vidanes, and Jenna Bugarin; brother in law, Jeff Vidanes, and sister in law, Melissa Bugarin; aunts, Dana McMakin and Annette Nowjack; uncles, Joel Nuyles and William Toribio; and the only love of his life, Amanda Derby
Tom joined his grandparents, Magdalena Mendoza and Jorge Balabis, Maria Concepcion Aquino and Robert James Tyree. Tom finally meets my only brother, Juan Maria Balabis, his sister, Georgina Bugarin, and nephew Joseph Bugarin, who all went to be with the Lord as infants.
Tom started and completed his education here in Elk Gove from Kindergarten at John Ehrhardt Elementary School through his automotive mechanic and welding courses at Cosumnes River College. He worked for the United States Postal Service Postal Distribution Center at West Sacramento from 2016, through 2020. His last position held there was as a Maintenance Mechanic where his supervisor commended him for his exemplary work.

On Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., Father Jules Orpilla will celebrate the Funeral Mass in the presence of Tom’s cremated remains at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church located at 9961 Elk Grove Florid Road, Elk Grove, California. Music will be provided by Rollie Mamaoag. Information about visitation and vigil prior to 2 p.m. will be provided later.
At 3:15 p.m., we will entrust Tom to Jesus to tell him, “See you later Tom”. Committal will be held at East Lawn Elk Grove, Garden of Reflection, next to his grandparents, located at 9189 East Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, California.
We will celebrate Tom’s earthly life at 4:15 p.m. at Little Brazil Steakhouse located at 8698 Elk Grove Blvd., Unit 3, Elk Grove, California.
Tom’s parents would like to acknowledge and thank sincerely Amanda Derby, and Regina Bugarin-Vidanes, for their tender loving care for Tom since he got sick.
