Theodore "Ted" Brandt

Obituary for Theodore (Ted) Henry Brandt It is with great sadness that the family of Theodore Henry Brandt, known to friends and family as "Ted", announces his passing Wednseday, May 23, 2018, at the age of 82. A native of Montana, Ted was born in Lewistown, but grew up in the Fort Shaw area. He graduated from Simms High School where he met his future wife of 60 years Helen. Together they raised 5 children, Ed(Patty), Jeff(Kris), Tanna(Lonnie), Joel(Lucy), and Hallie(Brent) and enjoyed 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The Brandt family moved from Montana to Sacramento California in 1975. There, Ted worked as a Construction and Farm Equipment mechanic for many years. He loved to share stories related to working on equipment out on many of the Farms and Construction Sites up and down the Sacramento Valley. After retirement, Ted enjoyed RVing with several camping groups, woodworking (making toys from wood), working on puzzles, sudokus, and many other challenging hobbies. Services will be held at East Lawn in Elk Grove, California on Satuday June 16th. Visitation from 10 - 11am with a Lutheran Chapel service to follow from 11 - 11:30am. Ted's family would also like to invite family and friends to a Celebration of Life BBQ open house from 1 - 5pm at 108 Gonce Way in Folsom, California 95630
