Terrence Emerson Rohl

Major Terrence Emerson Rohl, 76, of Elk Grove, CA, passed away on June 5, 2023. He was surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. 

Terry was born in Cambridge, Ohio to Ira Emerson Rohl and Wilma Wavaline Wells. After graduating high school, Terry joined the United States Air Force at the age of 17. An assignment sent him to Clark Air Base, Philippines, where he met and married his beloved wife, Rosalinda David Mendoza, in May 1967. 

Terry rose through the Air Force ranks while raising a family and pursuing his education. Terry would ultimately earn both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. He retired from the USAF after nearly 27 years of service. 

The next phase of Terry’s life would be spent building a family business and legacy with his two daughters. Time would eventually bring grandchildren, and Terry would find his greatest success of all…as Papaw. 

Terry’s endowment of love, laughter and loyalty will be remembered by all who knew him. But especially by his wife of 56 years, Lyn, children Terri Lynn and Doug Osanna and Victoria and Anton Spitsyn, and grandchildren Eden Osanna, Liev Spitsyn and Luka Spitsyn. 

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on July 1, 2023, at East Lawn in Elk Grove, CA.
