It is with profound sadness and heavy heart to announce the passing of TERESITA SAAVEDRA CARPIO, who peacefully joined our Creator on the morning of April 9, 2025 in Elk Grove, California.
“Itang” was born on July 28, 1941 in Southern Philippines and married to a devoted, loving husband Miguel Cabato Carpio and they had seven wonderful children.
Itang was a passionate public school teacher. For more than thirty years, she devoted most of her life teaching young children in elementary school. She loved to travel and experience diversed cultures, learn about history and connect with people. She was known for her beautiful and powerful voice that can sing high notes with ease and cooks delicious home-cooked meals. But most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel. And as a single parent, she poured her love and attention to her seven children and eleven grand children. Indeed, she lived a full meaningful life of 83 years, seeing her kids have kids and everyone is successful and happy.
Let us honor her memory and pray for the eternal repose of her soul.
Rest in peace, Itang. You will forever be in our hearts.
