Teresa LeAnne Jacobson, aged 54, passed away peacefully after losing her battle with breast cancer that had metastasized into her body. She is predeceased by her father Dick Sutton Wood, her paternal grandmother Paula Wood, her maternal grandfather James Williams and paternal grandmother Martha Williams.
Teresa was born in Stockton, CA on October 15th, 1967 and grew up in Central California before moving to Sacramento at the age of 11. She graduated from Valley Hi High School in the class of ’87. She continued her education at Cosumnes River College before attending Heald College.
Teresa met her husband, Daniel Jacobson, in a “Star Trek: Next Generation” chat room and they soon realized they were destined to be together. Daniel moved to California and they were married in the Rose Court Garden at Disneyland on Sept. 26th, 1996.
Teresa enjoyed many hobbies and her favorite was crocheting. She created many baby blankets for hospitals in need, as well as many blankets for family members at Christmas.
