Ted Lynn Thatcher

Ted Lynn Thatcher Sr, born and died in Sacramento, CA on 29 Mar 1926 and passed 21 Jun 2026 at 100 years old. Son of Willis L. and Claire M. Luttrell Thatcher. He worked for the State of California, Department of Developmental Services for 28+ years. He was President of CSEA Chapter 2. When he retired, he became a member of both retirement associations for the state, CSR and Director in Area 7 of RPEA. 

Both of his siblings have passed too. They were Gerald L. Thatcher and Dolores Thatcher.

He and his first wife, Helen Leola Hamilton, who passed in 1972, had three children. Katherine, Ted and Patricia. 

He and his lovely wife, Dora Lee Newman Thatcher, loved cruises and traveling the world. She is still with us. 

His grandchildren are Damon and Marilyn Berry, Leilia Brown, Brian and Ashton Fleshman and Dane Fleshman. His great grandchildren are Nora, Hazel, Benjamin. 

He was a loving and kind man and will be extremely missed.
