In Loving Memory of Stacey Nixon

September 3, 1971 – June 16, 2025

On June 16, 2025, Stacey went home to be with the Lord after a long and courageous battle with glioblastoma. Throughout her journey, she faced each day with remarkable strength, grace, and unshakable faith. She never wavered in her trust in God and found peace in knowing that her life—and her passing—were in His hands.

Born on September 3, 1971, Stacey lived a life full of purpose, compassion, and love. A godly woman and a bright light to many, she offered kindness without condition and listened with her whole heart. To be Stacey’s friend was to feel truly seen, known, and loved.

She is survived by her husband Darin, whom she often described as the greatest blessing in her life, her son Damien, her sister Shawn, her cherished niece Madison, and a wide circle of friends and extended family who were forever changed by her presence and love.

Stacey is preceded in death by her father Edgar, her mother Wanda, her twin sister Jennifer, and her beloved cat Gracie, who brought her comfort and companionship for many years.

Though her time on this earth was far too short, Stacey’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She taught us how to love without limits, how to endure with grace, and how to trust fully in God's plan.

A memorial service to celebrate Stacey’s life will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA 95841, where we will gather to celebrate the extraordinary life of a woman who loved deeply, served faithfully, and lived with a heart full of light. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
