Sidney Dean Williams

Sidney Dean Williams 8/27/36 – 1/18/23, passed in Gridley, CA.  Sidney Williams was born in Cassville, MO on August 27, 1936 to Clarence and Lucille Williams.  They moved to Sacramento, CA in 1948.  He served in the US Navy for 2 yrs., on the USS Cacapon AO-52 and was a reserve for 5 years.  He married Georgia Williams 7/20/1958 (64 years).  He has 2 children daughter Rochelle Kneeland (Williams) married to David Kneeland, Grandchildren Robert, Shane married to Miriam, and Kasey Kneeland, Great Grandchildren Bella, Robert, Sebastian, Oliver, and Aurora Kneeland.  He also has a son Sydney Williams.  Sid was the oldest of 8 kids, a caring, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He loved his Ding Dongs in the morning with his coffee, deviled eggs at gatherings and chili cook offs.
Please join us at a graveside service at East Lawn in Elk Grove on February 15th at 11:00 am at 9189 East Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, and at the VFW located at 7576 Stockton Blvd. after to celebrate as our grandson Sebastian would call him “The Great One”.
