Sharon Lee Phillips of Sacramento, California passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 86.
She was born to parents Donald and Margaret Brown, on March 4, 1938 in Spokane, Washington. She grew up with 3 siblings, Bill Brown, Marlene Beckman, and Ben Brown and became great friends with each of their spouses, Beverly Brown, Don Beckman, and Linda Brown.
She graduated from Norte Del Rio High School.
She raised 3 girls, Susan, Karen, and Gina. She had 6 grandchildren, Adeana, Chelle, DJ, Nick, Justin, and Tyler and 7 great-grandchildren Steven, Aidan, Lily, AJ, Laelah, Serenity, and Noah.
Sharon was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister who was always there when we needed her. She was a great listener without judgment and always placed her children first until she was rewarded with grandchildren. She lived for her grandchildren and loved them with all her heart. She played a huge role in raising them and she always said there isn't anything else more important than those kids. They were her life's reward.
Sharon was the type of woman who did not ask for anything from anyone. She was our organizer, teacher, problem solver, and our crisis manager. She was strong yet humble. She was grateful for what she had and tried to teach each of us about gratitude. To the outside, it may not look like much but to her, she had the world.
She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and cards and enjoyed needlework, and embroidery. She was a big fan of the SF 49ers and the SF Giants.
She will be missed by all of her family and in honor of our loving mom, grandmother, and sister we will promise to show gratitude, love, and try to do for others the way she did for each of us.
