Sharon Leona Schiele

“ Sharon “Cheree” Leona Schiele passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026 at the age of 75. She was born on August 23, 1950 to Sophie and James Kerian in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She attended St. Francis High School before beginning her career with the Department of Motor Vehicles where she retired in 1993. She had one daughter, Kimberly, who she loved and made many memories with. She had one granddaughter, Ashley, who completed her small family and the reason she became known as Gramma Punkin. Cheree was known for her wonderful skills in crafting. She was a beautiful seamstress and quilter, a master food preserver, she made beautiful cards and soaps, she was a gardener, a collector, and so much more. She is lived on by her daughter, Kimberly and her husband Robert, granddaughter Ashley, and great grandchildren, Maelyn and Carver.”
