Sandra Carol Fengel

We are sad to announce the passing of Sandra Carol Fengel of Sacramento, CA. She passed away at the age of 85 on 5/5/2023. Sandra left this earth surrounded by her loved ones. The funeral will be in a private ceremony with only close family members present. 

She accomplished many things in her life but her love for her family cannot be overstated. She taught us the importance of family traditions and how to make the best potato salad that ever existed. 

At the young age of 18 she met and married her husband of 66 years, George Henry Fengel. She went on to have four beautiful children, Stephen, Jason, Stacey and Justin Fengel and two amazing daughter in laws, Kathy and Tulan Fengel. In addition, she had 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandbaby on the way. She had such a unique and special way of making each one of her grandbabies feel like they were her favorite. She held many different titles in her life but to her family she was a daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. 

She flirted with the best of them and taught her granddaughters how to be confident, strong and faithful women. She also taught her grandsons how to treat a lady and expected nothing short of perfection. 

Grandma Fengel had a love for Diet Coke, all the flowers and her garden, All my Children, Frank Sinatra, family get togethers, Gone With The Wind, Swamp People, and the list goes on. She shared her passions with those that loved her most and her absence will be felt greatly. She will be remembered as one who loves the Lord, someone who passed faith and knowledge to the generations that follow her. Until we meet again, and peace be with you.
