Sallyann Mattie Martin

Sallyann Mattie Martin was born October 25, 1963, to Curtis and Olive Thomas in San Francisco. She went to St. Michael's in first grade, then St. Dominic's until '75, Cathedral Intermediate from '75-'77, public school for freshman year, and finished at St. Paul's from '78-'81. She was working on an associate's degree in paralegal studies at American River College and was excited to graduate soon. Sallyann's had a great thirty-year career in insurance with places like AAA and most recently The Patra Corporation. She married her loving husband Cedric Maurice Martin on July 6, 2007, and they have a wonderful family. They adored each other! Sallyann loved watching cooking shows and making healthy meals for her family. 

Sallyann is survived by her husband of 17 years, Cedric Martin; four sons, Curtis Thomas and his wife Kelly Thomas, Eugene Blackshear Jr. and his late wife Taylor Ann Woods, Suzanne O'Connor (Eugene's girlfriend), and Isaiah Blackshear; Cedric Joshua Martin; two daughters, Sherrita Blackshear and Jade Martin; mother-in-law Dorothy Martin; father-in-law Bennie Martin Jr. Deceased; sister-in-law Tara Martin; brother-in-law Adam Martin; five grandchildren, Bailey Thomas, Corey Thomas, Aliyah Okhade, Makia Dale Woods, and Jayden Miles Blackshear (who was born one week after Sallyann's passing); two brothers, Peter W. Best and Larry Thomas; one sister, Marion Taylor; and numerous family members and friends.
