Rudolph Valencia

Rudolph (Rudy) Valencia, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, born on July 12, 1940, and passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 84 years old.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Leocadia Valencia; his brothers, Manuel, David and Felix; and his sisters, Carol, Sophie, and Hope. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Maria Valencia; his sons, Mike (Karen), Greg, and Tim (Jeannette); as well as his cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Breanne, Gregory Jr., Michael Jr., Patrick, Nathan, Alexander, and Joshua. His brothers Paul, Matthew, and Sam, his sisters Ruth, Mary, Lydia, and Rachel also numerous nieces and nephews. 

A proud graduate of Sacramento High School in 1959, Rudy worked for many years as a longshoreman for ILWU Local 17 before retiring. Throughout his life, Rudy was a dedicated member of the Church of God 7th Day, where he served faithfully as an Elder. He was also an avid pianist, sharing his passion for music.
