Robert Vincent Weston (Bob) aged 92, a 50-year resident of Sacramento California died peacefully in his sleep June 9, 2025 of natural causes.

The funeral services will be held at 2pm Wednesday 25th of June at East Lawn Cemetery located at 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove California. Viewing will be available for friends and family Tuesday June 24th between 5pm-6pm. Pastor Earl Burkett Jr will be officiating the services.

Bob Weston was born on October 10, 1932 in Lee Summit Missouri. Bob enlisted into the United States Air Force and retired as an award-winning Air Force Recruiter in Salt Lake City Utah, June 1973 after a 21-year long career. After his military retirement, Bob worked in the Propane industry before starting his own successful business, “Weston Meter and Calibration”. Weston Meter and Calibration was a very unique and sought after service that repaired and calibrated liquid propane dispensing components all over Northern California.

Bob had a passion for flying and held Private Pilot's license along with an Instrument rating. As a young man he enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. In his later years he and his wife, Thelma, enjoyed weekend lunches while searching for lost treasures at Garage and Estate sales.

Bob met his lifelong love Thelma M. White in Sacramento California and were married in Reno, Nevada on December 23rd 1952. They remained married until his death, celebrating 72 years of marriage.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Thelma M. Weston, Sons, Robert V Weston Jr and Randal E. Weston. Five grandchildren, Robert Weston, Brian Weston, Heather Weston, Randi N. Weston and Cody Weston and several great grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, George H. Weston and Oda E. Weston along with 7 siblings: Herbert Weston, Mildred Groll, Warren (Ward) Weston, Ray Weston, Don Weston, Dorthy J. Burkett and Dale Weston.

Please join our Celebration of Life that will be held on the 25th of June after the East Lawn internment at “The Old Town Courtyard” at 9120 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove California.
