Richard Ryan Toloy

On Sunday December 25, 2022 Richard Ryan Toloy, passed away at the age of 58.  He was a loving Husband to Mary Ann Toloy, Dad of three children, Chrsitina, Sarah and Samantha, Father-in-Law to Matthew, Jonathan, Andrew and Grandpa to seven grandchildren LeeAna, David, Alicia, Mia, Jonathan, Jeremiah and Emiliano.

Richard was born September 5, 1964 is Salinas CA.  He enjoyed playing basketball and football in his youth years and completed high school.He was known for his pure heartiness, contagious infectious laugh, precise measurements, generosity, kindness and his silly jokes.  He was willing to teach anyone who wanted to learn. Some of his unforgettable simple sayings and gestures were:  Life is Good,  Everything is Alright, Run be Free, Who loves you? and gave thanks to the Father for every meal. 

His 26 year career with Malcom Drilling company was just one of his greatest joys and accomplishments as a Superintendent.  His favorite work mantra was:  “You are only as good as your last job.”

Richard was proceeded in death by his Father, Robert Indong Toloy and Mother Lydia Laborin. He is survived by his three brothers and sister-in-laws, Robert & Carmina, Vance & Cindi, Patrick & Dawnettte, sister Lydia Toloy and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

A casual celebration of life will held on Sunday, February 19, at  79 A Street Galt, California 95632;  open house will be from 10:30-3:00.
