Paul Allen Borgfeldt

Paul Borgfeldt passed at the age of 84 on January 18, 2025, in Folsom, California.

Paul was born January 5, 1941, in Monrovia, California to William Parker and Eda Allen Borgfeldt. While he was young, the family moved to El Cerrito, California, where he then spent his childhood.

In 1958, Paul joined the U.S. Army and served both in Vietnam and stateside before his honorable discharge in 1964.

Paul worked for a time in mainframe computers for Bank of America and later was a reserve police officer for the cities of Albany and Kensington in California. This is where he found his greatest calling: to protect and serve his community as a peace officer. He was a loving, loyal, hardworking man who made many sacrifices to provide for and support his family. He will always be remembered for his love of his family, his sense of humor and ability to make people smile, and for the strong figure he was in any setting. Paul also had a deep passion for music and the arts, which he passed on to his family and all those who knew him. Throughout his life he positively impacted those who knew him, and he will live on in those memories. 

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 31 years: Irene; his children: Dan (Toni), Carolyn (Brian), Elise (Erik), and step-son Jack; his grandchildren: Michael, Elizabeth, Tami, Will, and Ashley; his great-grandson Rembre; and his sister Eda (Sergio). Preceded in death by his daughter Regina.
