Paul A. Avalos

February 20, 1964 — July 22, 2022

Paul Anthony Avalos, age 58, passed away peacefully in Sacramento on Friday, July 22, 2022, with his family at his side. Paul was born in Sacramento on February 20th, 1964.  He graduated in 1982 from Foothill High School in Foothill Farms and attended American River College.

Paul is survived by his mother and father, Margaret and Theodore Nasca, spouse, Dani Avalos, son, Paulo Avalos, brothers David Avalos Jr (Debbie), Michael Avalos (Tina), Teddy Nasca Jr.(Angela), sisters Patricia Avalos, Elizabeth Parnell (Jim), and preceded in death by his brother Frank.

Paul’s personality had some of the best qualities you would hope for in a person. Whenever he walked into a room, his smile, magnetism, and charisma changed the whole atmosphere. Friends and family always knew when Paul showed up because a wave of roaring laughter and energy would envelop the room. He was also an extremely generous man. He would always give you something, either a quick bite or his time, to make sure you were comfortable.

Growing up and throughout his life, Paul played many sports (wrestling, soccer, baseball and golf), but soccer was his favorite. He played soccer from elementary school well into his 40s. Paul always had sports on his mind. Any type of pre-season games, he was either watching it on TV or sitting by the radio listening to 1140 KHTK.

Paul was loved by many and will be dearly missed by his friends and family and co-workers. His Celebration of Life service will be held at East Lawn Sierra Hills in Sacramento on Saturday, August 20th starting at 10:00 AM PST. A Celebration Reception will be held at the Citrus Heights Community Center after Burial Service. Paul’s smile was warm and special, and we hope to see it when we meet again.

Flowers will be gladly accepted at East Lawn Sierra Hills. Please deliver either

Friday, August 19th or the Morning of Saturday, August 20th, the same day as the services.
