Patricia Louise Johnson

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Pat (Patricia) Johnson. She passed away on August 28^th, 2023 in Sacramento, California at the age of 88.

Pat was born on June 29^th, 1935 in Roscoe, South Dakota to Edward and Frieda Schueler. When she was seven years old she moved with her family to Acampo, California. Pat graduated from Lodi High School and then moved to Sacramento with some girlfriends and worked at McClellan, AFB as a secretary. She married Gean Bechthold in 1955 and they had four children. She went to work for Rio Linda school district as a teachers aide and then taught beginning computer class at Madison Elementary School.

She enjoyed sewing, cake decorating, tole painting, traveling, camping and sharing her strong faith in the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her brother – Lyle Schueler, first husband – Gean Bechthold, grandson – Billy Hart, and second husband – Stacey Johnson.

She is survived by her four children - Glenda Hart (Bill), Doreen Marcell (Allie), Gean Bechthold Jr. (Julie), Russ Bechthold (Barbara), sister – Sylvia Gilland and twin brothers – Dennis and Dan Schueler and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them all.

In 1991 she married her second husband Stacey Johnson. She gained an extended family – Sam, Gary (Patty), Susan Reuscher (Mike), Ken (Joyce) and Tina O’Brien (Greg), and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She loved her family, church family (Church of God Seventh Day) and serving the Lord.

Services will be held October 6^th, Friday – 10:30am at East Lawn Mortuary, Greenback Lane & I-80 (5757 Greenback Lane).
