THOMPSON, THOMAS E. “TOMMY” Of Orangevale passed away on August 16, 2006. Loved to spend time with his loving wife Shirley of 46 years and his children Mike and Karen Thompson and Marla and Tony Scopesi; Proud grandfather of Curt, Gina, Dominic and Natalie. He will be greatly missed by all his loving family and friends. He was a native of North Carolina, retired from the US Air Force, serving in Vietnam, and avid fisherman, golfer, woodcrafter, and card player. He was a member of the Goldpanners Camping Club and the Sunrise Mall Walkers. He was 72 years of age. Friends are welcome for visitation at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and to attend services on Wednesday at 10:00 AM, also at East Lawn. Burial services will follow.
