Susan Gayle McKay

We are Heartbroken to announce the passing of Susan Gayle McKay.

Susan was granted her Angel wings, and went to Heaven on March 2nd 2023. Susan was born in Sacramento, CA to Paul Elkins, and Patsy Kuechler (Rose). Susan lived her later years in Sparks, NV. Susan served in the United States Air Force from 1980 to 1986 as an Airframe Repair Specialist. Susan McKay passed away at the age of 64.

Susan was proceeded in death by her Father Paul Elkins, Mother Patsy Kuechler (Rose), Brother David Elkins, and her Ex- Husband Jeffery McKay who had two kids together. She was a beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandma, and Friend.

Susan is survived by her Brother Paul Elkins (Tanya Elkins), Sister Trish Penrose (Mark Penrose), Daughter Jamie Ranslow (Greg Ranslow), Son Brian McKay (Nicky McKay), and Grandson Mikey McKay.

We would love for you to join us as we celebrate her life on April 29th at 10:30am. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Elk Grove. 9717 Bond Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95624. An Interment Service with Military Honors will be held following the service at 12:00pm. East Lawn Elk Grove, 9189 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624.
