Marie Smith

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving behind five generations, entered into eternal life on August 5, 2004. She is preceded in death by her late daughter, Georgia May Roberts and son, Stanley Smith. She is survived by her three daughters, Barbara Smith-Nash, M.D., Mauryne Dean, Marlene Smith-Reed; son, Lovelle Smith and special son, Isaac "Ike" Smith; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a hhost of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Marie was a devoted Christian. She loved serving the Lord and her life was rooted in prayer. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Marie gave unconditional love freely. She will always be remembered as a loving, kind and gracious woman who had the spirit of God living in her. Funeral Home: South East Lawn Mortuary 9189 E.
