COOKSON, LES Passed away in Elk Grove on September 14, 2004. Beloved husband for 68 years to Ruth; Loving father of Bennett, Jerry and the late Don Cookson; Cherished grandfather of Jenny, Julie, Jeff, Bennett, Mike, Debbie, Samuel, Carol, Emma, Paul, Gary, Jake, Joe, Les, Adell, and great-grandfather of 19; He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. He was a native of Sebastopol, California and a longtime resident of Citrus Heights. He worked for many years as a superintendent and vice-president of Peterson & Associates Construction. He was 91 years of age. Friends are welcome for services on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church, 5839 Dewey Drive in Citrus Heights.
