Leo LeMars Johnson

Johnson, Leo LeMars Born March 24, 1928, he passed away peacefully on June 26, 2004. Leo is survived by his dear wife Lois, of 56 years; loving father to Thane & wife Gina; Kyle & wife Arlene; and his granddaughters Marissa & Taylor whom he absolutely adored; brother to Dwight, Dayle & Bruce and preceded in death by his father, Elmer and mother Edna; sisters Lucille, Vernette & Joyce. Born and raised on a farm near Greenwood, Nebraska, He served in the U.S. Navy stationed on Guam. After service to his country, he graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Agriculture in 1953. He moved to Sacramento in 1959 to continue his work in the agricultural field where he retired in 1986. He was an active member of Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church for 41 years. He was also an avid fan of Cornhusker football. He will be remembered for his loving spirit, generous nature and his infectious sense of humor. Memorial service will held at Celtic Cross Presbyterian Church, 5839 Dewey Drive, Citrus Heights, CA. on Thursday, July 1 at 2:00 pm. Internment will be private.
