LAURIE V. HOBERMAN

HOBERMAN, LAURIE V. Passed away August 20, 2004, at Mercy San Juan Hospital. Born in Concord CA to Earl and Janice VanDeventer, who welcomed her home to be with them and our Lord. Laurie was a resident of Sacramento 17 years. A graduate of Oroville High School, class of 1974. Moving to the Bay area she met the love of her life Bradd Hoberman and married August 31, 1985. Laurie and Bradd made their home in Sacramento and soon began a family with the arrival of son Aaron in 1987 and daughter Lindsey in 1992. Laurie was office manager of Dr’s. Portwood and McCormick. In addition to Bradd, Aaron, and Lindsey, she is survived by sisters Ray Coleman, Earlene Cullison, Sue McDougal, Barbara McLain, and Jade Acosta as well as many nieces and nephews. Laurie had a heart of gold and was someone you could talk to and count on; a peacemaker; and great friend. She loved being a wife, and mother, and loved her family. No one can express the loss of such a vital part of our lives. Although we cannot see or touch her, we will always have in our hearts her wonderful memories which can never be taken away.
