Jane Diane Graham passed in Sacramento April 20, 2022 due to illness. Jane was born June 15, 1942 in Sacramento, California. She grew up in the farming community of Walnut Grove, California in the Sacramento Delta where she developed many lifelong friendships and memories. Jane lived in Sacramento her entire adult life where she raised her family. She was very active in her childrenâs schools helping in the classroom and providing tutoring for other children. She was very proud of her children and their academic and professional accomplishments and loved spending time with her daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She was an avid walker and enjoyed walking in the Land Park neighborhood with her husband Bob and many local walkers. She loved terriers for their unique personality and had three Lakeland and a Wirehaired during her life. Jane loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in her garden and visiting the California coast including Point Reyes Station and Inverness where her family visited for many years. Jane graduated from Santa Catalina School, Monterey in 1960 and from Loretto Heights College, Denver in 1964 (now part of Regis University). Jane was married for 54 years to her husband Bob who preceded her in death in 2019. She is survived by sons Robert and William and daughter Clara; William's wife Susan; grandchildren William and Margaret; sister Susan and her son Robert Anthony; niece Amy Rucker and nephew John Gilmore; many cousins and their children; and close friends developed over many years. Her parents, William and Jacqueline and her grandparents precede her in death. According to Janeâs wishes, no services are planned. A mass will be said in her name at Holy Spirit Church in Sacramento at a future date. She will be interred in a private ceremony at East Lawn Memorial Park & East Sacramento Mortuary. Contributions in memory of Jane may be made to Maryhouse (organized under Sacramento Loaves and Fishes) providing a no barrier center for women and children experiencing homelessness (www.sacloaves.org).
