Born August 14, 1918 to James R. Kelly, Sr. and Edna Schoenau in San Francisco. Passed away at his home October 8, 2008 following a short battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife Noreen E. Kelly, and son James R. Kelly III. He is survived by his children Kathleen A. Kelly-Brooks, Douglas A. Kelly, Patrick H. Kelly, Margot P. Kelly-Rice, and Timothy O. Kelly. James is survived by 20 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
