Emma Lee Whisler

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jack L. Whisler, Emma Lee Whisler - 88, died on October 22, 2021 at home in Rocklin, California.  Lee was born in Hyattsville, Maryland on May 12, 1933.  Daughter of Henry and Emma Wiley,  Sister of Henry Garnett Wiley Jr., Betty Lou Lokey, Roberta Norma Clark, Walter Wiley, Myron Wiley and Lula Bell Wiley.

Lee was a devoted mother to her children, Michael Whisler and his wife Tammy, Rodney Whisler and his wife Christine and Stacy Meza and her husband Troy. 

Lee was the proud Grandmother to Tara Vacula, Sean Whisler, Ashlee Harper, Shannon Whisler and Dylan Meza.  Great Grandmother to Zoey and Skylar Vacula, Cora and Lucas Whisler, Layla Stahl and Apollo Harper. 

Lee worked for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service for 20 years.  After retirement, she and her husband relocated to Peoria, Arizona where they enjoyed living for the next 20 years before returning to California in 2012 to be closer to family. 

Lee was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a long time member of the Hillsdale blvd., Baptist Church and her Faith in God sustained her. 

Lee’s life was well lived and was well loved by her family.  Besides spending time with her extensive family, she enjoyed traveling and did so as often as she could with her husband until his passing. 

Funeral service will be held on October 29, 2021 at the Hillsdale Blvd. Baptist Church, 6201 Hillsdale Blvd., Sacramento, CA. 95842 at 10:30 am
