AVILA, EMMA D. Passed away in Sacramento on January 23, 2005. Beloved mother of Rachel Horn, Vida Azevedo, and the late Steve Avila; Loved grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 3; She is also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She was a native of Santa Paula, California and longtime resident of the Sacramento area. She had been a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church since 1941. She was 98 years of age. Friends are welcome for a memorial service on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 2:00 PM at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento.
