Born Erie, PA on April 17, 1924
Died Folsom, CA on December 5, 2005
After graduating from Andrews all girls school in Ohio, she went to work at Cleveland Trust Company. On her 20th birthday in 1944, she joined the United States Marine Corps, where she served proudly for 2 years. While she was serving in Santa Ana, Eleanor met Lee Treddenbarger. When she was discharged in April 1946, she flew back to Nebraska to marry Lee. They were wed in Kansas City, KS on April 22, 1946. They moved to Ohio where they worked until Lee got the transfer they had been waiting for, that moved them to California in 1956. Eleanor then worked for Wells Fargo Bank and then Carmichael Honda along with raising her children. Eleanor lived in Carmichael until 1999 when she and Lee moved to Folsom for retirement.
Eleanor is survived by her 3 children, Debbi Dimuccio of Spring, Texas, Rick Treddenbarger of Folsom, CA, and Sandy Smith of Cool, CA, 2 granddaughters Rebecca Renee and Michelle Smith and one sister, Joyce Bauer of Fair Oaks, CA.
Eleanor will be buried in Franklin, NE cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 2:00 PM
