Donald Joseph Mello

MELLO, DONALD JOSEPH June 3, 1929 to July 8, 2004. Donald Joseph Mello died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento, California. Mr. Mello is survived by one sister, Aileen Wilkerson of Sacramento, two step-brothers, Francis Ventura of Forest Hill and Vernon Ventura of Novato, a nephew Bert A. Wilkerson of Livermore, CA and one niece, Janet Brown of Forest Hill, as well as many cousins and close friends. Born June 3, 1929, Mr. Mello was the son of Delphine Ruth Souza and Joseph M. Mello. Donald was a skilled steel worker and cement mason and also operated his own landscaping and rototilling business in the Sacramento area for many years. He had a life-ling passion for classic cars and enjoyed working on his garden and around his property and especially, hanging out with his old friends. Family and friends will be holding a private memorial service for Mr. Mello at his residence in Sacramento on Saturday, July 31, 2004. The family may be contacted thru Mr. Bert A.
