DONALD L. BURTON

June 14, 1943 — June 5, 2005

Born in Granite City, IL, on June 14, 1943, he passed away in Roseville on June 5, 2005. He was a member of Oak Plains Lodge #789 and Ben Ali Shrine. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Viet Nam as a military Policeman. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon Burton, Roseville; daughters Lisa Burton and Viki Burton (Antelope); granddaughter Cathryn (Antelope) ; brother Ralph (Doris) Burton of Granite City, IL; sisters Diane (Paul) Freeman of Brooksville, FL, and Susan (Bill) Tyrrell of Brazoria, TX. He worked from 1969-1991 with Citrus Heights Fire Department. (Sac Metro) and enjoyed spending time with his very special granddaughter, his faithful companions Sam and Sheba and camping at Lake Almanor. Visitation on Sunday, June 12th, from 1pm-5pm and services on Monday, June 13th at 2pm, both at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane. Memorials can be sent to Northern California Shriners Childrens Hospital or your favorite charity.
