Dee Start

START, Dee After a brief illness, in the City of Sacramento. Mr. Dee Start, age 88, passed on to be with his Lord and Savior. Dee was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Violet Start of Missouri, his beloved wife Helen Start of Sacramento, and his sister Lois Moffett of Arizona. Dee is survived by his brother Kyle Start (Allene) of Elk Grove, CA, his sister Lee Correll of Arkansas, his son Steven Start (Susan) of Elk Grove, CA, his son Tim Start of Utah, and his daughter Annette Rutemiller (Brian) of Cincinnati, OH. Dee also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dee moved his family to the Sacramento area from Chicago, IL in the early 1950s and established a continuing family-owned business. Dee was also a veteran of WWII. Mr. Start was a man of great faith and was a member of the Arden Christian Church for many years. He was a life member of the Masons. A small graveside service will take place at East Lawn Memorial Park. The family would also like to thank Dee's friend and companion, Rose Swanson, for her dedication and help.
