Bessie Marlene Henson

bessie marlene Henson was born on May 9, 1958 to Earl and Edna Tipton who were there in heaven to welcom marlene home once again. Marlene moved to Rio Linda at the age of 5 and lived there until she was called home by the Lord. She graduated from Rio Linda High and earned an A.A. from Heald Business College. Growing up in Church all her life, she served as a Sunday school teacher, children's church teacher, she wrote plays for the church and directed them as well as singing in the choir. While attending church Marlene eventually met, fell in love and married Farin Henson in July 1977. Farin and Marlene welcomed their first child, Brian Nathan and completed their family by welcoming in Katie Jane. marlene was devoted to Farin, Brian and Katie. She loved to do many things with her family and friends, such as going to church every chance she had, going shopping, statrting crafts (but never finished), she loved to ride her quad with her kids. At the age of 45 she learned to ride a dirt bike. She also liked to travel...some of her favorite places were Disneyland, Disney World, dayton beach, Silver Dollar City and Craker Barrel. She also enjoyed going on cruises and trips to the coast. Marlene and Farin joined New Life Community Church in 2003. She loved to worship the Lord through her participation inthe chior. Marlene leaves behind to treasure her memories her loving husband of 31 years, Farin son Brian, his wife Shara, granddaughters Kari and Karissa. Her daughter Katie, her husband Ivan and her newest granddaughter, Aubree. Brothers, John &Raymond. Sisters Donna and darlene.
