Nenita Purisima Dasalla, age 68 of Sacramento, California, entered eternal rest on August 20, 2022, surrounded by loved ones at Mercy General Hospital. A graduate of Mary Chile’s College of Nursing in Manila, Philippines, she went on to work in Kuwait as a NICU nurse before moving to the United States to continue her career. A lifelong NBA fan, she watched all the games from the season’s beginning, up until the playoffs and wasn’t shy to show her support for the Kings. She welcomed all with open arms and was affectionately called “Mama,” even by those not related to her. In her free time, she loved cooking and baking, always making a batch of her bibingka to bring along to family get togethers, where she enjoyed bonding with loved ones and playing mahjong to pass the time. She is preceded in death by her parents Pantaleon and Remedios, as well as her sisters Lilia and Ehelfrida, and her brothers Rogelio and Melanio. She is survived by her husband Edgar, daughter Edinette, and siblings Delicia, Merlyn, and Nezi. We’ll remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.

Friends are welcome to attend a visitation from 5:00-8:00 pm, with a Vigil Service at 6:00 pm, on Friday, September 16, 2022 at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 E.
