A Celebration of the Life of Neng Dao Tou Vang (1960-2025)
Neng Dao Tou Vang, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 65. Neng Dao's life was a testament to the power of kindness, resilience, and love. Born in Laos, he spent his early years in an embattled country after the Vietnam War, but with resiliency and perseverance found his way to the United States to embody the American Dream.
Neng Dao worked for the Social Security Services for 22 years as a claim specialist. His selflessness and constant willingness to help other led to him being placed in a special project role as a liaison between the homeless community and the Yolo County Coordinators. He was also a translator for the local Hmong Community working with their claims and reviews.
Neng Dao is survived by his loving wife, Xia; their four children, Houava (Mike), Yekong (Steve), Mychossue (Christy) and Chewchee (Kenny); 9 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and countless friends and family who will forever cherish his warmth and generosity.
We celebrate Neng Dao's beautiful spirit and find comfort in knowing his legacy will live on through the lives of all he touched. A memorial service will be held on March 28th, 2025 beginning at 9am at East Lawn Funeral Home on 3939 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA., 95820
