"Myron" N. Louis

Mynon "Myron" Louis, who was born on January 18, 1982 as the second of a set of twins to the parents Karen McCoy and Carlton Louis (Mouton), Jr., in Los Angeles County. He later relocated to Oakland and attended junior high years in Oakland, graduating from Havenscourt Junior High. Myron moved to Fremont, California, where he attended American High School and then later relocated to Vacaville, where Myron graduated from Vanden High School. Myron continued his education at Solano Community College and worked at "Mom's" restaurant as a cook, a position that ignited his love for cooking.

 

Myron's professional journey also led him to become a Cable Installer for Cable Oakland. Later, and relocated back to Southern California where he began his career as a forklift driver, while maintaining ties to the Bay Area, but he soon relocated to SoCal once again to live with his big sister, and cook at the hotel with his brother-in-law, where he remained for years. Myron was a proud father of three daughters whom he loved dearly. As a dedicated "girl dad," Myron spoke often about his daughters with joy and pride to anyone who would listen. His love for his children was evident in every aspect of his life. Known for his laughter and goofy sense of humor, Myron was a man of peace and kindness and was not one for violence and found joy in the simple things, such as cooking family recipes and watching Raiders games. Myron especially enjoyed competing in the kitchen with his twin brother, Myrone, and sharing friendly culinary challenges with his siblings, including Vivian, with whom he shared the deepest of bonds. 

 

Family was at the heart of Myron’s life. He cherished his relationships with his siblings, nieces, and nephews, and made it a point to nurture individualized connections with each of them. He loved attending family events, celebrating holidays, and creating special moments with those closest to him. As a brother, uncle, and father, Myron exemplified love and dedication. Myron leaves behind his daughters Tai Louis, Aria Louis, and in 2019 united in marriage with Chrystal Strozier to which their daughter Jordynn Rose Louis. He is also survived by his mother, Karen McCoy; and others who parented him including Barbara Harris, including his sister Carlvette McIver (James), and Webster & Angie Southall. Additional siblings Alisha Sharpton (Patrick), James McCoy (Lisa), Vivian Bullock (whom he had a very strong bong), Carlvette Alisha Louis, Carlton Louis, Jr., Aggie Louis, Charica Baggett (Sammy), Candacee Berry (Jason), Patrick Southall, and Brittney Glisson, his Aunt Marena Lewis and his nephew Terren who was more like a brother, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins

 

Myron was preceded in death by his twin brother, Myron "Myrone" Louis; his father, Carlton Louis (Mouton), Jr.; his nieces Azhane and Asaunti; his nephew Todd Jr.; and his beloved grandparents Golden and Alton Batiste, and Aggie B. and Carlton Mouton, Sr. & Uncle Timothy Lewis.

Myron will be greatly missed for his infectious laugh, warm spirit, and unwavering love for his family. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

 

Rest in peace, Myron. You will forever be loved.
