Mykholyn "Mic" Narvaez

July 5, 1978 — March 20, 2025

Mykholyn Anne Pangilinan Narvaez was born on July 5, 1978, in Manila, Philippines. As the second eldest, she was a natural caretaker from a young age, always looking after her siblings and cousins, ensuring they were safe and well-cared for. Her nurturing spirit would define much of her life.

Mykholyn moved to the U.S. at the age of eight with her mom and older sister where she would gain a new father in Richard Morris, and younger brothers.

In her teen years, she was a popular kid, a proud member of the cheer team, and an accomplished student. She became known for her compassion, dedication, and ability to bring out the best in everyone she encountered.

In 1998, Mykholyn married the love of her life, Roldan Narvaez. Together, they raised two children, Loralyn and Gavin, and built a beautiful family. With her desire to do the greatest good deed for someone else, she became a surrogate for the Banaga family and introduced Chloe Grace to the world. Mykholyn always put her family first. Her children were her pride and joy, and she was their biggest cheerleader in every aspect of life.

When she wasn’t at Disneyland, Mykholyn would play board games, cook, watch movies, and read. She also loved to entertain and create lasting memories, whether it was through holiday traditions, weekend trips, or simple moments at home. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and was famous for her orzo pasta salad. Even when the gathering wasn’t her own, she always made sure everyone was cared for and enjoyed themselves. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and ability to make everyone feel welcome will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Roldan; their children, Loralyn and Gavin; her mother, Thelma; and her beloved siblings, Michelle, Nevin, and Blaine.

Mykholyn’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all of the lives she touched. She will forever be missed, but her spirit remains a source of strength and love for those who remain.
