Mayra Puentes Muro

Mayra Guadalupe Puentes, aged 34, born on 1/27/1992 in Guadalupe Victoria Durango, Mexico and sadly passed away on 6/5/2026 in Sacramento, CA.

Through life Mayra worked as a caregiver for 15 years. Which needless to say went along with her loving, caring, strong and vibrant personality. She devoted herself to caring for others and touched many lives through her kindness and generosity.

Family was the center of Mayra’s world. She loved making them laugh and creating special memories. Mayra shared a special bond with all of her siblings, nieces and nephews however; she was especially proud of her little sister Stefanny and never missed an opportunity to brag about her accomplishments.

Mayra had a deep love for music, dancing, horseback riding, and spending time outdoors, especially near the water and surrounded by nature. She will be deeply remembered as she was the life of the party. Her vibrant spirit could brighten any room, and her presence made every gathering feel complete.

Throughout her life, Mayra experienced many chapters of love, but the person who held a particularly special place in her heart was her high school sweetheart, Miguel. Those who knew them understood that their love was deep, genuine, and enduring.

Mayra is survived by her beloved mother, Catalina; her father, Jose; her brothers, Aaron and Jose; her sisters, Joana and Stefanny; and her cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Abel Puentes; her grandmother, Catalina Sosa; and her cousin, Jesus Quesada.
