Matthew William Clifton of Denver, Colorado, passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 32. His world revolved around his family, especially his beloved niece and nephew, Carter and Nixon. He had an infectious laugh that could light up any room and a heart that embraced his friends as family.
A natural entrepreneur, Matthew built his own business with determination and vision. He was passionate about God, music, and his country. His adventurous spirit thrived in the great outdoors, where he explored the beauty of Colorado with his loyal dog, Cooper, always by his side.
Matthew's friendships were lifelong and unbreakable—his childhood friends grew with him, forming a bond that remained strong through the years. He is survived by his devoted mother, Susan; his father, Mark; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Jamie; his cherished niece and nephew, Carter and Nixon; his grandmother, Ruth Clifton; and his grandfather, William Johnston, and his wife, Mary-Ann Beck.
A service to honor and celebrate Matthew’s life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at East Lawn Elk Grove, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove, California, 95624. Doors will open at 9:00 AM, with the service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Matthew’s presence in the lives of those who knew him was a gift, and his love will continue to be felt in the hearts of his family and friends.
