Mary Eleanor Patty

Mary Eleanor Hendricks Patty peacefully passed away April 28, 2026 at the age of 97 years old in Sacramento. She was born on December 6, 1928, in Sheldon, Missouri, to Clarence and Leila Hendricks. At a young age, she moved with her family to Pacific Grove, California, where she would spend most of her life and build a loving home.

Mary was devoted to her family and took great pride in raising her children. After her children were grown, she began a career with McCormick & Schilling, where she worked for many years before retiring. She was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and steady presence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Leila Hendricks; her beloved husband, Richard Patty; her son, Jerry Patty; and her great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Selphie Espinoza.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary L. Torres; her grandchildren, Christina Espinoza and Travis Torres; and her great-grandchildren, Brody and Zane Espinoza. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and dedication to family that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Mary will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
